Quotable
-
Fifty-five years on the ballot, zero federal offices, 0.42% in 2024. A political party that cannot win, and no longer pretends it is trying, is not a party. It is a mailing list with delegates.
-
We are running for the LNC on a single commitment: end it. If delegates aren't ready for that, then at minimum: stop running candidates.
Background
- 2024 LP presidential vote share: 0.42% (Chase Oliver).
- 2022: Mises Caucus took the LNC. Internal documents reportedly show post-takeover declines in candidates, fundraising, and membership.
- 2022: LP-Virginia dissolved. 2026: LP-Washington voting on dissolution (7/8ths required).
- 2026 convention: Grand Rapids, MI · May 21–25 · theme "Freedom Calls" · the Chair seat is open after Steven Nekhaila opted not to seek re-election.
